Events - Payments
Your reservation for any event is not complete until you have paid for the event prior to the
event registration cut off date. Check with the event details and see if you owe money to the
club for your reservation or if you owe it to the outfitter upon arrival. (It will say at the
bottom of the event page under "Cost & Payment"). You can pay for your reservation via PayPal,
Money Order, or Check (listed in order of preference). See below for details on each.
You MUST sign up for an event prior to paying, in order to guarantee your spot!
PayPal - This will allow you to pay for events using your credit or debit card, as well as
automatic withdraws through your bank account. Here is how you can pay for your event using PayPal...
If you don't have a (free) PayPal account (we suggest signing up and adding funds to your PayPal account
no later than one week prior to your money being due for an event):
- Go to www.paypal.com
- Click the link to Sign Up Now (it's free to get an account)
- Fill out the questions on the form to get your account set up
- Once your account is set-up (check your e-mail for info), then log into PayPal
- Follow the online prompts to get your credit card added to your account or add funds from your checking account
- Once you have either your credit card or funds in your account, click the Send Money tab at the top
- Put in
as the Recipient's E-mail
- Put in the total that you owe for Amount
- Put Service for Type
- Put in the event title for Subject
- Put in the name(s) of who you are paying for in the Note field (very important so we know who to mark as paid)
- On the next page, select No Shipping Address Required
- Then click Send Money
If you do already have a PayPal account: Follow steps 4 through 11 above.
Cashier's Check or Money Order - Mailed payments must be received by the club within 5 days of your registration (but definitely
no later than the cut off date) - so mail it in early. Payment
should be made to "Maryland Outdoor Club" and mailed to P.O. Box 6381, Annapolis, MD 21401.
Personal Check (Guarantees your spot on the trip ONLY after it clears the bank).

Receipts for PayPal: You will receive your receipt that you paid via e-mail from PayPal. Hold onto this!
Receipts for Money Order or Check: You will receive a paper receipt when we receive payment
from you. Hold onto this!

Please note that the MOC waiver
MUST be signed by each individual to allow participation in an event.
